Stephen McKirgan

Background

After being heavily involved in rowing in his teens, Stephen moved into the field of performance and rehabilitation after several injuries forced him to take a back seat with the training side of things, and has continued down that path ever since. In recent years his passions in sport have swung heavily towards martial arts and is actively involved in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu both as a competitor and writer.

His training is influenced by his studies in kinesiology, nutrition, biomechanics and sports therapy with a focus on knowing where you want to be and getting you there.
