Abiodun qualified from the University College Hospital, Ibadan Nigeria in 1987 and conducted his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology both at the UCH Ibadan Nigeria (1991-96) and North East Thames Deanery, United Kingdom (1996-2005). He completed his research training at St Michael's Hospital in Bristol. In addition to training in general gynaecology, he holds special skills accreditation in Gynaecology ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery, and colposcopy. He was appointed Consultant in Sept 2005 at the North Middlesex University Hospital, London.
Bio's specialist interests are in Colposcopy (management of abnormal smears), Menstrual problems including PMT, Pelvic pain, Endometriosis, Early pregnancy problems, and Key-hole surgery.
