Barry Walsh

Barry pursued his interest in decathlon by taking up a sports scholarship at the Penn State University in America.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and business and a bronze medal at the European junior championships. His interests in sport and also sports injuries led him on to obtain an honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in 1994.
He has worked at several teaching hospitals in London, including the Chelsea and Westminster and St Thomas’. In 2000 he obtained a Masters degree in spinal manipulation and rehabilitation from the University College London. He also qualified for the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in that year.
