What happens in a consultation?
Your health history is thoroughly assessed, along with lifestyle, diet, & exercise activities. A number of assessments and laboratory tests may be recommended to help identify specific issues that can be targeted in your nutrition and lifestyle program. Body composition assessments are regularly performed in most consultations (ultrasound analysis of fat and muscle mass, girth measurements etc). Highly customised dietary guidelines and supplement programs are usually also provided after each appointment.
Preparation and Requirements
Prior to your initial appointment, all new patients need to complete the ‘new patient’ paperwork. Appointments may also involve a number of assessments, including girth measurements and ultrasound body composition analysis – requiring that you wear loose fitting clothes (such as gym kit, tracksuit etc).
