Kathryn Reynolds is from New York and has been working as a therapist and meditation leader for 15 years. She has worked in a variety of locations in the UK including Women & Health in Camden Town, The Hale Clinic at Regent's Park, Urban Bliss Clinic in Portobello, London Lighthouse in Ladbroke Grove and taken part in the Health Schools Scheme around North London. Kathryn uses Body Work Healing meditation Spiritual counselling and Seed Coaching to empower those that she works with. She is a member of the International Guild of Professional Practitioners.

Are you curious about meditation? Do you think that you can't meditate – does stilling your mind seem impossible? Dive head-first into the world of meditation in a series of two four-hour sessions with one of the world's leading meditation practitioners.

We have all seen the yogi sitting in silence with their hands in a mudra, but most of us are pretty vague about what it actually involves. Did you know that there are many ways to mediate from many cultures and societies? Using a variety of techniques from around the world, Kathryn's aim is to help you find a way to use this heath-enhancing approach. You will look at the many forms of this ancient practice. Each week, you will build on the work of the previous week. By the end of the course, you will have found a meditation technique that you will want to make your own.
Mediation can help with drug addiction, prolonging life expectancy, stress control, pain management, chronic illness, heart disease, high blood pressure, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and tension headaches.
Week 1: Posture and breathing & Stillness and Movement
Posture and breathing
The first week will set the foundation for your technique. Sitting, standing, lying down – we will explore what works for you, why breathing is the key to much of meditation and why it is so important that you practice.
Stillness and Movement
Can we ever be still in our minds and body? What dynamic meditation can do for stress.
Week 2: Sound, mudras and chanting & Visualization and Crystals
Sound, mudras and chanting
We will start exploring more subtle layers of meditation.
Visualizations and crystals
Sometimes we are more visually oriented and need something external to focus on. We will explore visional meditations.
Each student will receive a goodie bag worth £60 at the end of the course.
3. VALENTINES DAY WORKSHOP: MEDITATION AND MASSAGE FOR COUPLES

A perfect Valentines day gift for you and your loved one. Explore the method and benefits of couples' meditation. Kathryn Reynolds is also an experienced massage instructor and, during this workshop, will teach you massage techniques which perfectly compliment couples' meditation.
